Half garden centre, half treasure hunt
Most people come in for a plant. Most people leave with a plant, a pot, something for the kitchen, a present for someone else's baby, and a coffee. That is simply how the place works.
It is one site with several shops living happily on it: the nursery out in the courtyard, the covered shed full of garden furniture and fire pits, the homewares and giftware rooms inside, a baby and children's boutique of its own, and Wisteria Lane doing the coffee.

Inside the mart
Furniture and homewares, styled the way you'd actually live with them
The indoor side of the mart is set up as rooms rather than shelves. Sofas dressed with botanical cushions and throws, rugs rolled out underneath, lamps switched on, art already on the wall.
It means you can see how a piece sits before you commit to it, which is a good deal harder to do from a catalogue.
Baby & children's
A proper boutique for the small people
Rattan cots and bassinets, painted chests spilling over with soft toys, blankets, sleep suits and racks of baby clothing, all in their own quiet corner away from the main floor.
It is the reason plenty of people drive in from out of town for a christening present or a new-baby gift.
Under the shed
Fire pits, pots and garden furniture, all under cover
The big shed is where the outdoor living lives. White wrought-iron settings, benches and bistro tables, fire-pit bowls, windmills, and metal garden sculpture that has a habit of following people home.

Wisteria Lane
The coffee comes out of a Kombi
The counter at Wisteria Lane is the front half of a red-and-white VW Kombi, with a neon sign glowing above the brickwork and a cake dome on the bench.
Outside, the courtyard wall carries a hand-painted wisteria mural, with bistro tables under festoon lights. It is the part of the shop people photograph.
Coffee, cakes and homemade food. It is open the same hours as the rest of the site, so you can browse first and sit down afterwards.
